Minelab has released two new pinpointers – Pro-Find 15 and Pro-Find 35! If we are to judge according to the technical specifications indicated by the manufacturer, these two pinpointers can make a decent competition to Garrett Pro Pointer AT and XP Mi6. However, there are several interesting features that make them worth special attention.

Quick Look on Minelab Pro-Find 15 Pinpointer

This is the younger brother in the series. This pinpointer is protected from rain and wet weather, but it is not totally waterproof. Generally, this is a regular pinpointer with the on/off switching and dynamic response from the target. Minelab recommends this item to beginners and sells it at a cheaper price.

Pro-Find 15 is of standard length, very lightweight, and easy to handle. It operates with a fixed sensitivity, has no vibration signal mode and no LED flashlight. It is powered by the 9V battery, and the expected battery life is about 30 hours which is pretty decent. You can wear it on the belt in a holster, and it is also equipped with lost alarm. In other words, this is a reliable, simple to use, powerful equipment made by a respectable brand with great reputation. This tool does not do somersaults and does not bring coffee to bed, but it will show stable performance and do its job seamlessly for at least 1 year (according to the warranty).

Older Brother: Minelab Pro-Find 35 Pinpointer

The older brother in the series offers more cool features. These include:

Length, weight and battery are similar to the 15 model, the difference is that the cheaper product does not have the battery included into the kit, while Pro-Find 35 does have one in the kit (but you still pay for it though).

This thingie will be very handy in complicated locations; you can wear it on the belt or on lanyard, it also has lost alarm and the design is really cool. The manufacturer promises that the instrument will be perfectly functional for 1 year (see warranty).

Both items in the series are designed to be easily seen even in the dusk, and are super handy and convenient for regular use. if you consider buying yourself a pinpointer, check one of these out.
