C.Scope EVO6000 Overview

C.Scope EVO600 is a long-awaited metal detector. The very first model was presented at the metal detecting festival in 2019, and the metal detector was expected in the following year, but due to reasons under no one’s control, C.Scope decided to postpone the metal detector release.

While C.Scope EVO600 was expected to be a beginner-level metal detector, its tech specs that are already revealed show that it is a beginner-medium level of skill machine. The combination of its functions and features allows to suggest that the machine will be versatile and flexible enough to facilitate newbie hobby entry, and yet provide enough settings to give the newbie room to grow and develop mastership.

EVO600 will be powered by a rechargeable LiPo battery with 30 hours battery life; battery charge time is 2 hours . The machine is expected to be lightweight, handy, and backed by the 2 years warranty.

Control Box

C.Scope EVO600 has the LCD display on the control panel. It should be pretty easy to use because it only has 6 buttons: Power On/Off, Up & Down, Pinpoint, the “OK” button, and the Menu button.

On the LCD screen, the indicators are as follows: Volume; Pinpoint; Battery charge; GTrack value; two digit Target ID value; Iron Volume, Discrimination Volume; Discrimination level; Sensitivity level; Menu list, and Depth levels.

C.Scope EVO6000 Features

By checking out tech specs, features, and functions of a metal detector, it is quite possible to assess whether it will be fit for this or that type of search, and whether it can meet some very specific metal detecting needs, for example, on specific locations. C.Scope EVO600 seems to be a bit more sophisticated than an average entry-level metal detector, since it features a healthy amount of tunable features. • selectable frequencies – 7 kHz and 17 kHz – in this metal detector, you can change operating frequencies by changing the search coil. The frequencies available are versatile enough to cover all the most popular types of targets

• Pinpoint – this feature allows to identify the exact location, approximate size and shape, and placement underground, before the user starts digging it. This way, the user mitigates the risks of digging something useless or dangerous, and also the risks of damaging a valuable target
• Auto and Manual Ground Balance – automatic Ground Balance is handy for all beginner detectorists, because it manages the most complicated settings for them. Manual Ground balance requires more expertize, but allows to adapt the settings to unusual soils or locations
• Ground Tracking – this feature enables the metal detector to constantly track the level of ground mineralization, and inform the user when the settings and the soil mineralization do not match, and Ground balancing should be redone. This way, the user will never metal detect with incorrect Ground balance settings
• Waterproof up to 3 feet – water isolated metal detector is handy for many locations, and moreover, the machine is well-protected from heavy rains, storms, fogs, accidental splashes, or when being dropped into the water
• Updatable Software – this feature means that the manufacturer will be able to fix the bugs, update functions, improve features or even add new ones, and generally keep all released metal detectors in decent competitive shape for long years, without the need of sending them for a repair
• Iron Volume – 100 Iron Volume levels allow the treasure hunter to better recognize iron-containing metals and minerals, and therefore better analyze target signals
• VDI Target ID – this feature assigns numeric values to spotted targets based on their response to the electromagnetic field created by the search coil. Getting visual information from Target ID in addition to audio signal is helpful when analyzing the target
• 6 depth levels – going deep means that the metal detector will spot some targets other treasure hunters could miss. Also, knowing a suggested depth level, digging the target is easier and safer
• LCD display – such display is easy and pleasant to use, so the metal detectorist will be able to handle the indicators properly
