Detech has released two series of new search coils – one series for Garrett ACE Apex, another series for Nokta Makro Simplex. To be honest, considering the utmost quality Nokta Makro puts into all its products, I have doubts about any other coils being better than the original ones. But we should wait and let the series pass the test of time. As for Detech 13 ULTIMATE DD coil and other compatible coils for Garrett ACE Apex, opinions are divided. On the one hand, Detech promises that their coils are light and stable, show nice performance in various temperatures, and will make the search more productive. Yet, considering that there are a bunch of other new compatible coils for ACE Apex flooding the market, it seems that Detech has very slight chances for their coils to be noticed.
